rather plodding biopic of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung and the birth of psychoanalysis.
Michael Fassbender & Viggo Mortensen are both excellent in
their roles, it's a shame their hard work is rather undone by Keira Knightley's terrible acting (this has to be seen to see how bad it is).
I
thought David Cronenberg was one of the best directors during the 80's & 90's, with films such as The Fly, Videodrome & Naked Lunch, but this is most certainly one of his weaker films
from an entertainment perspective.
Good attention to the period and a couple of well-acted
performances, but an incredibly boring film.
