After their car breaks down, a man's wife is kidnapped and
held for ransom by a gang of roughnecks.
A very decent neo-noir thriller is made from a very
low-key plot, driven by a very good performance from Kurt Russell as a man desperate to save his wife at all costs. It's not the type of film which would go on to win any major awards, but is
still a nail-biting watch.
