Fresh from the success of Home Alone comes another John Hughes written comedy about a juvenile getting the better of a bunch of dumb criminals when the baby's thirst for adventure takes him into the hustle and bustle of the big city.
It's nowhere near as a funny as Home Alone, but it is still quite entertaining seeing three idiots being outwitted by an infant. A little gloipy in places, but a relatively enjoyable family film.
Did You Know:
Although he normally did not enjoy films which show children or infants in danger, Gene Siskel gave this movie a "thumbs up" while Roger Ebert disliked the movie, and told Siskel he should be ashamed of himself. Their sharp disagreement has since become a popular Internet video.
